A Path of Discovery

We are working together to draw in for the betterment of all. By choosing to draw inward, we can slow the progression of a virus. We can draw inward physically, mentally, and emotionally in any way we choose. Shutting doors to a life we constructed of busy and doing, we are making a new creation. This is new.

Beginning of a Month, Ideas for Hope

Decide the framework of this day. What mindset do you want to wake up to? Wonder, Noticing, Stillness… In this astonishing time, we can “make the best of it” or actively choose to awaken cherishing. How dearly we are thankful for the clerks, doctors, nurses, and volunteers putting their lives on the line. How can I help in a small way? Staying home is an offering I choose to uphold to help. To make it an even greater offering, I decide to hold a reverence to this day. Fear, doubt, and irritation will not rule my mindset. What will? How do you want to settle in?

The ingredients of our lives are very noticeable right now. Sleep, nutrition, mental stimulation, physical routine are ingredients that contribute to the quality of our lives. This leads to our emotional stability, regulation, and mindset. One month is a robust time to decide growth. What is controllable? I can decide growth. Rather than wasting time reacting to what is happening, construct what outcomes you wish for. What is your personal strategic plan of growth? What can thriving look like? What structure do you need to foster the qualities you are seeking to grow?

“Your solitude will be a support and home for you even in the midst of very unfamiliar circumstances and from it you will find your paths” — Rainer Maria Rilke

We are creating our paths. Our homes are filled with the energy we put into it. What am I co-creating in my relationships around me? Paths can include taking empowered steps focused on thoughts. They can be journaling exercises to take time to dream. Another path might include brave actions of trying a different way than what usually is done. A path home is one that returns to our essence and remembering who we really are. This is a path of celebrating our unique goodness we bring into the world.

“There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium, and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is, nor how valuable it is, now how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open.” — Martha Graham

Though the landscape of our four walls does not change, our daily journey does. This traveling can include the dark night of the soul as well as the dawn of awakening. What support can you ask for when things don’t feel good? With whom can you celebrate a growth or new awareness? Curiosity allows the whole self to witness and experience the path. Structure can offer a tether to stability to stay on our path. Let’s invite ourselves wholeheartedly to this path of discovery. This is too precious to waste on narrow-minded thoughts. You get to decide your mindset, your focus, and your choices. Please know you are invited to set up a session to design your next month by…
